Location and History
Just North of HWY 26, near Beaverton, is the neighborhood known as Bethany. Home to around 20,000 residents, many of whom work for Intel and Nike, Bethany has recently been growing as a very popular place to live and work. Known for its excellent Beaverton schools, Bethany is a great place to raise a family.
Anyone who lives or works in this area has become familiar with the construction taking place along Bethany Boulevard. This project, while inconvenient for those of us trying to commute through the area, aims to eventually improve the flow of traffic along Bethany Boulevard where it meets HWY 26. The Bethany neighborhood has continued to evolve as a popular place to live and business in the area is expanding as well. The Bethany Boulevard expansion is scheduled to be completed in December 2013.
